I can't have been happier with my decision to dine in this restaurant. The service was not only seamless, but the food was absolutely delicious. I was so pleased, and they were all so happy with their meals. It was all we had hoped for. I highly recommend this restaurant for any kind of event.

Sushi was ok.. nothing extraordinary. It took a lot of time to first take our order and then to serve us. Overall ok experience.

Came here for the first time to experience their outdoor dining and was quite impressed! Set up very nice, tent and setup is clean, tables spaced out, service is very kind and attentive. Ordered the unagi, cherry blossom, rainbow, Godzilla rolls. They were all good but giving4 stars because we weren't real crazy about their selection. Not too many choices for rolls, a lot of spicy and fried rolls. we paid about $20 per roll although the portions are large and they were very good! We will definitely be back during this pandemic!

I love Japanese food this is a very cozy place the staff that serves very kind and friendly first time I visit it in San José CA but I loved everything, I recommend it ❤️

Service was fast. Liked the online menu, via QR link. Wait staff was attentive. Bento combo box (I got chicken teriyaki and sashimi) is a reasonable deal.

A bit on the pricey side.

I visit this marvelous place every couple of days as I enjoy the ambiance that is exist in this restaurant. The team is awfuly attentive and skilfull. The service is extremely efficient. Not to mention, the food you eat is outstanding. I ate there many times and I was never disappointed. The rate is decent. I suggest this place to to everybody.

Best sushi place in the Bay

Good table service. A bit pricey.

I ordered the bento box, three items, for lunch. Wow there was so much food. I actually got three meals out of it! The outdoor patio used for dining is covered. It's almost like another room... But it's open on both ends so it's "legal." Website should make it absolutely clear that there is tables and chairs for you to dine there. Be prepared to wait... It's that good!

So I've been eyeing this restaurant for a few months now and my birthday came along so I decided to give it a try. The staff was super helpful on orders, the food was fantastic and they even through in some wagyu tataki as a birthday gift and it was an amazingly nice thing for them to do. I couldn't recommend this place highly enough, the fish is fresh and tasty, the menu has everything you could want. I am definitely going to be back.

I am a San Jose native and this is the only sushi place I go to. I am so happy to find out that they are open for out door dining. Come check it out. So beautiful and relaxing. Got mad tropical feelings.

I always leave Mizu Sushi Bar & Grill very satisfied from the Services to the Quality of the Food that I've ordered from their Menu. Definitely recommend this Sushi Restaurant for those who love delicious sushi in a great atmosphere, including a Bar and TV. It does tend to get busy and, especially at night during the weekend (starting from Thursday Nights). It is worth the wait, and also a great spot to go on a Dinner Date.

We have been here many times. Tasty food. Fast service. Clean place and clean crowd. Great for love birds and romantics dinners. With kids we were always the odd people in there but it was for them.

Family tradition! It wouldn't be a family visit to the west coast without coming to la Mizu Sushi Bar & Grill. Today's order is cheese enchiladas, vegan rice, vegetarian black beans. Husbands both race on mole sauce but it's not vegetarian so o haven't tried it. Get the skinny margarita instead of regular. It's better.

Food is mediocre. Overrated. Not good at all. I have had better.

Food is good but it is impossible to access the menu on your website since you are bombarded with a pop-up that won't close about another restaurant location being closed

We went to Mizu for dinner last December because we were craving for some Japanese cuisine. We were just visiting this side of town and weren’t expecting too much. We were surprised that it had a long queue for dinner. We were seated at the “bar” section. The bar section is wear the sushis are all made. It was a sight to watch. We ordered two rolls of sushi and pork tonkatsu. It was really good.

Easy online ordering thru ChowNow. Food was ready for pickup upon arrival. However, the taste was dry and lacked flavor. Items ordered included Dragon Roll, Chicken Terriyaki, Tempura Roll, and Unagi Roll. Hopefully just a bad day.

Don't get intimidated! It looks big and fancy inside, but it's totally worth the price! Food is not expensive considering what you'll get, plenty of tasteful foods!

A fun sushi restaurant with dozens and dozens of fancy rolls. Great for celiac and gluten-intolerant people.

We moved to Mizu for supper last December since we had been craving for a few Japanese cuisine. We were only visiting this side of city and were not expecting a lot of. We were amazed that it had a lengthy queue for supper. We were seated in the"pub" section. The pub section is put on the sushis are made. We ordered 2 rolls of beef and pork tonkatsu. It was really excellent.

Can’t talk enough about this place! Most creative delicious food you can find in the South Bay! Great for group or just by yourself (like I did this time). I’m coming here on every Bay Area visit and so should you. A bit pricy but you need to pay for a good sushi place. #LKTG

I am a regular here and in the past I had a few complaints about other waiters but Ms. Sherry changed my whole experience for the best ever!!!!! The food here is great but what made our experience amazing was our waiter Sherry. She knows the menu, she can identify the best food items and her service is immaculate. I was more than impressed with her promptness and even how she knew what we wanted before we could even ask. Hands down Sherry is the best and if you get to have her as your waiter you will be very lucky! Thank you Sherry!

Amazing service and food!

Well, full disclosure, I'm vegetarian....so I ordered the veggie tempura, which was rather tasteless...the carrots also were undercooked. I also had the Kappa Maki, which was ok but a little chewy...also the music was on the loud side, and it was freezing lol. My stablemates, however, found the rolls acceptable.

Cool menu

Loved the green dragon roll and you get miso soup with your order. I also got the gyoza. That was amazing. My boyfriend got soooo much sushi and sashimi I can't eat raw fish right now which breaks my heart cause I love it. I cannot wait to come back and try the yellow fin and the halibut and to try the mackerel. I love this place.
